Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how AutoDeck (“we”, “us”) handles information, in two parts: information from people who visit our website, and information that flows through the AutoDeck application on behalf of the dealerships who use it.
1. Website visitors
If you visit our website or contact us to request a demo, we collect what you give us directly — your name, phone number, email, and dealership name — solely to respond to you and arrange a demonstration. We don't use third-party analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
2. Dealerships using AutoDeck
AutoDeck is a business tool. When a dealership (“Customer”) uses AutoDeck, they enter data about their own operations and their own customers — names, phone numbers, vehicle records, sale prices, and similar business information (“Customer Data”).
Who controls this data. The dealership is the data controller of their own Customer Data — they decide what goes in and who it's about. AutoDeck acts as a service provider, processing that data only to operate the product: storing it, displaying it back to the dealership's staff, and generating the documents and reports the dealership asks for. We do not use Customer Data for our own purposes, and we do not sell it to anyone.
Where it's stored. Customer Data is stored with Supabase (managed database and file storage) and served through Vercel (application hosting).
Who else can see it. Only the dealership's own authorized staff can access their data. AutoDeck's database enforces this at the database level (see our Security page), not just in the app's interface — so it holds even if there's a bug elsewhere in the product.
How long we keep it. Customer Data is retained for as long as the dealership's account is active. If an account is closed, we retain the data for up to 90 days to allow for export or reactivation, then delete it.
Cookies. AutoDeck uses one cookie: an authentication session cookie that keeps you logged in. It's strictly necessary for the product to function — we don't use tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies.
Your choices. A dealership can request a copy or deletion of their data at any time by contacting support@autodeck.lk. If you're a customer of one of our dealerships and have a question about your own data, that request should go to the dealership directly — they control it, not us — but we'll help facilitate it if asked.
